Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) - Sebastopol, CA

Make an immediate impact supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant! This contract opportunity is open to SLPA professionals interested in working either full-time or part-time. Starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year, with the option to stay on for the 2025-2026 school year, you'll collaborate with a supportive educational team and make a difference with K-12th grade students.


Key Qualifications:

• Valid California SLPA license or eligibility
• Experience providing speech and language support in K-12 educational settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to follow treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Flexible, reliable, and passionate about helping students reach their potential

Position Responsibilities:

• Carry out speech and language interventions created by supervising SLP
• Work with individual students or small groups, tracking progress and participation
• Document student performance accurately
• Support implementation of student IEP goals
• Collaborate with instructional staff to promote effective communication in the classroom
• Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and the SLP team
