Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct virtual sessions with clients through phone, video chat, or messaging, utilizing our secure and user-friendly app.

• Engage with clients in 30- or 45-minute sessions, focusing on treatment plans that suit their individual needs.

• Assess and treat stable clients presenting with low acuity conditions, ensuring each session is tailored to improve their mental well-being.

• Document client interactions and maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations, while minimizing paperwork to allow more time for patient care.

• Collaborate with the Gotham team, participating in training and continuing education to stay updated on best practices and innovations in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with clients experiencing conditions like ADHD, OCD, grief, weight disorders, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges that benefit from virtual support. Every client is screened prior to placement, ensuring you work with patients who match your expertise and specialization. This screening process supports effective therapeutic relationships and positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• A valid, independent license to practice in New Jersey with no disciplinary actions.

• Access to a reliable phone, personal computer or laptop, and a stable internet connection; tablets are not supported for this role.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in a similar counseling role, particularly in a remote or telehealth environment, is highly preferred. Individuals with a background in handling a variety of low acuity mental health conditions will excel in this position. Familiarity with digital health tools and online therapy practices will also be advantageous.

• Attractive annual salary range of USD 90,000 to 104,000, commensurate with your level of experience and weekly hours worked.
