Credit Analyst

Overview Responsible for direct communication with BDOs, loan officers and brokers in the gathering of a materially complete credit file package. Job Responsibilities Develop customer relationships through friendly, courteous and responsive service and ensure that proper customer service is maintained at all times. Responsible for gathering a materially complete credit file package. Keep loan officers, brokers, and lenders informed of their transactions through effective communication. Keep management informed through summarized information in Salesforce and effective communication. Ensure that all documents required for underwriting are saved and properly organized in the Y-Drive. Maintain a professional and technical knowledge by studying all relevant SBA SOPs and USDA regulations, attending seminars and educational workshops. Organization and follow up are critical to performing the job function. Assist manager as needed. Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed. Input loan files onto the Spark software platform. Order third party reports. Order credit reports and LexisNexis with a signed MVB authorization to make inquiries. Monitor Reg B timelines for SBA loan applications. Move MVB loan applications that are withdrawn or declined to MVB logs and folders. Assist with the movement of files. Assign MVB loan numbers to applications. Help with the identification of MVB good faith deposits. Job Qualifications Minimum Experience: 1 year Preferred Experience: Two to four years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Education and Skills Basic understanding of business financials and cash flow methodology Ability to prioritize and complete tasks under pressure Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to be a team player and understand all members of the team are vital to its success One Drive Microsoft Office/Excel Cute PDF/Adobe Pro Operation of various office equipment, copier/scanner/fax, etc. #J-18808-Ljbffr Total SBA
