Dietary Director

Washington Center is hiring a Dietary Director in Argyle, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, assign, and oversee the work of Food Service staff to ensure quality service.

• Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and assist with departmental payroll data entry.

• Supervise the proper storage and handling of food and supplies.

• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, storage areas, dining spaces, and equipment.

• Review residents' trays to confirm they align with specified menus and assist with tray service during mealtimes.

• Plan and coordinate food preparation for special events and functions.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Strong communication skills.

• Flexibility to work weekends as needed.

• Willingness to step in for other roles within food and nutrition services, including cook or dietary aide.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
