We are seeking a detail-oriented Regulatory Affairs Specialist to support licensing and regulatory operations for a growing, mission-driven organization focused on sustainability and device re-commerce. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions while supporting the expansion of operational footprint nationwide. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and enjoys working cross-functionally with regulatory bodies, internal teams, and external stakeholders. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on regulatory requirements across various jurisdictions
- Prepare, submit, and track license and permit applications
- Maintain compliance reporting requirements and systems across locations
- Serve as a point of contact for licensing authorities, regulators, and law enforcement
- Ensure positive and professional communication with external agencies
- Maintain accurate regulatory records, filings, and documentation
- Perform data entry and manage internal tracking systems
- Support ongoing compliance initiatives and operational needs
- Bachelor's degree OR 1+ year of relevant work experience
- Paralegal or related regulatory/compliance experience preferred
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems preferred
- Exposure to nationwide licensing or regulatory processes is a plus
- Prior experience interacting with law enforcement or government agencies preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Understanding of licensing systems and regulatory processes
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Adobe
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
