Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Stepdown Per Diem

Position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA. Reporting to the Director, the mental health worker/certified nurse assistant will assist in the promotion, maintenance and restoration of health of patients assigned to his/her care. Responsibilities include assisting with ADL's, promoting wellness, health/education and clearly documenting patient activities. Responsible for adult and geriatric patient's personal hygiene, ADL's, vital signs, application of ice bags, K-Pads, assist patient with TC and DB and use of incentive spirometer and providing a safe and comfortable environment for their patients. They provide emotional support to their patients and document their interventions.

Qualifications:

• Must have current, valid Certified Nurses Assistant certification, or be currently enrolled in accredited Registered Nursing program with completion of the 1st clinical curriculum semester.
• Current BLS (CPR) Certificate required through the American Heart Association.
