Start Date: ASAP | Available Shifts: 12 | Pay Rate: $106.70 - $115.50

Our organization is in search of a Critical Care/ICU Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP) to provide locum tenens support to address an immediate need.

Opportunity Details & Requirements

• Schedule: 3 shifts weekly, each lasting 13 hours. Shifts are scheduled from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 8:00 AM, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Coverage is needed until March 31, 2027.
• Practice Setting: Inpatient, Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.
• Types of Cases: Focus on critical care cardiac patients, including those with ventricular assist devices, venoarterial and venovenous extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, Impella, and cardiac transplant cases. Responsibilities include daily rounding, patient management, admissions, postoperative care, and various procedures.
• Patient Load: Manage 8–12 patients per shift within a department that has 30 beds.
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days.
• Electronic Medical Record: Cerner.
• Certifications Required: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Basic Life Support; Board Certification as a Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider is mandatory.
• Licensure Required: Must hold a license in Pennsylvania.
