Work location: Texas Health Denton: 3000 North I-35 Denton, Texas 76201 Work hours: PRN I; Day Shift 6:45am – 7:15pm, 1 shift/6 week schedule period Department Highlights 40-bed unit 4:1 patient ratio Workplace culture 2nd to none Great benefits, 401k, PTO What You Need Nursing Diploma Nursing required OR Associate's Degree Nursing required OR Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required 6 months Critical Care experience preferred RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required AND BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required AND ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required AND NIHSS – National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 90 days required AND CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 90 days required What You Will Do Basic Human Needs – Responds to other’s priorities regarding safety, physical, psychological, and social needs.
