Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Confluent Rehabilitation, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations to establish patient baseline functions and determine personalized treatment plans.
• Implement effective treatment strategies aimed at preventing disabilities, reducing pain, and restoring functional mobility.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the consistent application of treatment protocols.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, traction, and massage, while educating patients and families on rehabilitation techniques.
• Utilize diagnostic tests to assess client progress and modify care plans as necessary.
• Document patient conditions through clinical records, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, adhering to compliance standards.
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team, engaging in case conferences to enhance overall patient treatment plans.
• Maintain clear communication with patients and their families, providing guidance on therapy portfoliio, techniques, and care devices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus on a broad range of patients, particularly those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, and sports injuries. You will assess each patient's individual needs to create specific treatment plans that respect their capabilities and personal goals. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and valid PT license in Florida.

• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license.
