Work Environment

This role will be performed onsite in our Clearwater rehabilitation center, equipped with the latest technology and resources to support therapeutic endeavors. You will be working in a collaborative clinical environment alongside experienced professionals, including other physical therapists, occupational therapists, and support staff, all dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' physical capabilities, limitations, and individual treatment goals.
• Create tailored care plans utilizing a variety of treatment modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training.
• Maintain a patient-focused approach, ensuring optimal interaction by dedicating necessary time to each session.
• Monitor and document patient progress in compliance with organizational protocols, utilizing EMR systems like WebPT for precise record-keeping.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, wellness strategies, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term health.
• Motivate patients during their rehabilitation journey, helping them overcome barriers and celebrate milestones.
• Collaborate regularly with other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your main client population will be individuals recovering from orthopedic and sports-related injuries, post-operative rehabilitation patients, as well as those suffering from chronic pain conditions. Our facility provides a well-rounded approach to care, allowing you to utilize your skills to treat a diverse range of cases effectively.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license in Florida (or eligibility to obtain one).
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver patient-centered care, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems, particularly WebPT, for efficient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in outpatient physical therapy settings, especially with a focus on orthopedic care.
• A strong background in manual therapy techniques and successful exercise program design.
• Experience working with sports rehabilitation programs and understanding the unique demands of athletic recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
