Position Overview

Pace Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate licensed Physical Therapist for a full-time outpatient role in our Clearwater, Florida rehabilitation center. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations, including reviewing patient medical history and conducting specific assessments to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual.

• Clearly communicate evaluation findings and treatment recommendations to patients and their families, ensuring they are integral to the goal-setting process for their rehabilitation.

• Implement proven rehabilitation protocols based on assessment results, adapting treatment as necessary to accommodate each patient's health condition and progress.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care and recognize when modifications to the treatment plan are necessary.

• Maintain accurate records of patient care activities, including detailed documentation for evaluations, daily encounter notes, and discharge summaries to paint a clear progression of care.

• Effectively manage time and productivity while adhering to departmental goals, participating actively in community outreach initiatives and marketing efforts to promote our services.

• Contribute to departmental objectives by ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, fostering an environment of safety and quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Clearwater facility serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, orthopedic surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.

• A valid and active physical therapy license as required by the state of Florida.

• Current certification in CPR from the American Heart Association or equivalent, mandatory for all healthcare providers.

• No prior work experience is required, although experience in a clinical setting is a plus.

Preferred Experience

While prior experience is not mandatory, candidates with clinical rotations or internships in outpatient or orthopedic settings will be preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and rehabilitation documentation practices is beneficial, as well as strong communication skills and a commitment to collaborative patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
