Job Duties

• Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and create tailored therapy strategies that facilitate their journey toward functional independence.

• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with other OTs, PTs, STs, medical practitioners, and nursing staff to ensure a well-rounded approach to patient care.
• Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and their families about therapy practices to encourage continual progress at home.
• Track Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, ensuring patients remain focused on their goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications are highly encouraged and supported.

Licenses

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• Mandatory certification by the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy).
