Through hands-on training, mentorship, and a culture of internal promotion, we empower you to reach your full potential and contribute to projects that truly matter.To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Material Handler in USA Fontana, Ca.Report to the Production Manager, the Material Handler, is responsible for the movement of materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations within the production floor.What a typical day looks like:Read production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock, and order priorityCoordinate efficient flow of materials and products throughout the purchasing, manufacturing and assembly processWork with internal departments (purchasing, planning, etc.) and vendors (as needed) to get updated status of materialsInform production supervisors of material status and consult with supervisor to determine how to resolve outstanding materials that could affect productionLocate and distribute materials to specified production areasMaintain a clean and safe work areaPerforms other related duties as assignedThe experience we're looking to add to our team:High School Diploma or equivalent0-2 years' experience in manufacturing, warehouse management, or another related fieldExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailEfficient time management skillsGeneral understanding of blueprints, wiring drawings, schematics, or engineering diagramsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareWhat the physical requirements are:Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at a time.Must wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floorWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:Full range of medical, dental, and vision plansLife InsuranceShort-term and Long-term DisabilityMatching 401(k) ContributionsVacation and Paid Sick TimeTuition ReimbursementApplication Deadline:Applications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
