Internal Medicine Physician Assistant

We are a growing, physician-owned medical group expanding in Duncanville, TX, seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team, part-time, in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. This role will be WEEKENDS ONLY! Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to SNF patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Manage patients with orthopedic rehab needs, post-stroke care, and chronic pain conditions
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR
• Weekends only: Available to be onsite Saturday and Sunday

Required Qualifications:

• Active Physician Assistant license in Texas
• Active DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of internal medicine experience as a PA
• Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations
• Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills
• Comfortable working independently in an SNF setting

Preferred Experience:

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or post-acute care experience
• Background in internal medicine and/or geriatrics
• Experience with orthopedic, stroke, or pain management patients

Schedule & Setting:

• Weekends Only! Saturday and Sunday
• No nights
• Skilled Nursing Facility setting

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.

• Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirements.
• Must comply with facility vaccination requirements.
