Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and meticulous reviews of their medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through comprehensive assessment of imaging studies and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative support, including preparing operating rooms, positioning patients, and efficiently passing surgical instruments
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is strongly encouraged

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills

• In-depth knowledge of surgical principles and sterile techniques
