What You’ll Get To Do The Principal Contract Administrator will support contractual activity within the Navigation, Intelligence and Connectivity (NIC) Division under the Navigation and Cockpit Systems (NACS) Business Unit for the Navigator Operation Unit reporting to the Contracts Manager of the Navigator Operating Unit. The Contracts Administrator will participate in contract proposal preparation, contract negotiations, contract administration, and customer contract activities to manage assigned contracts in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. As primary interface with the customer, the Contracts Administrator will ensure that contractual obligations are communicated and understood, ensure fulfillment of contract requirements, manage contract changes, and maintain historical information. Reviewing terms and conditions to address provisions and risks of financial terms, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, warranty, intellectual property, termination provisions, indemnification and other risk areas and recommending risk mitigation strategies. Under general supervision, developing solutions to both routine and complex contractual matters to ensure company compliance with contract requirements on assigned programs. Assisting management in achieving financial goals related to cash management and sales. Act as a primary interface with customer for contractual issues; monitor contract and the associated program to ensure that contractual obligations are communicated and understood. Preparing written communications with internal and external customers for assigned contractual matters. Maintaining contract data in the Contract Management System. Ensuring timely delivery of all contractual deliverables and submission of invoices. Preparation of proprietary information agreements, teaming agreements, export licenses/agreements and various types of memoranda. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in Government Contracts Administration/Management OR a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience in Government Contracts Administration/Management. Experience with FAR/DFARS and International Non‑US Government contracting. Experience working with various contract types such as Time & Material, Cost types, Firm Fixed Price, Other Transactions, etc. Experience working with proposal development and negotiations. U.S. Citizenship required. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance is required. Preferred Qualifications Experience in U.S. Government Department of Defense contract administration & Non‑US Government contracting management. Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) / Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR). Experience working independently and collaborating with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). Experience briefing internal and external customers. Experience with the SAP Sales & Distribution Module. Experience in ITAR Export knowledge. A current/active U.S. Government Secret Clearance. Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00. The salary range represents a general guideline; however, it is considered in the context of the position’s scope and responsibilities, the candidate’s experience, education, skills and market conditions. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and, for higher levels, long‑term incentives. Additional benefits include health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company‑paid holidays and paid time off for vacation and/or personal business.
