Position Overview:

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for a locums position in an Article 28 Facility in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, NY. This role offers competitive hourly compensation and requires at least 3 years of clinical experience in a relevant setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients in an Article 28 facility setting.
Conduct patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
Prescribe medications and therapies within the NP scope of practice.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.
Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or higher from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Licensure: Active New York State Nurse Practitioner License (Required).
Certification: Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and documentation.
Soft Skills: Excellent clinical judgment, strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and patient-centered approach.
