Midday, you carve out time for prospecting: a few cold calls between appointments, a drop‑in at a construction site, and follow‑ups from last week’s networking event. Throughout the day you document driver logs, route performance, and maintenance schedules, and you keep an eye on compliance with DOT regulations, company safety standards, and environmental laws.
