What You’ll Do As the heart of our office, you’ll help create an exceptional experience for our clients while ensuring our day-to-day operations run efficiently. Your responsibilities will include: Greeting clients and visitors with a warm, professional attitude. Answering incoming telephone calls and serving as the primary communication link between clients and our office. Responding to client questions, resolving concerns, and directing inquiries to the appropriate staff member. Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, collections, coding invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records. Preparing client files and entering information into our tax software. Maintaining organized physical and electronic filing systems. Assisting our accounting and tax professionals with administrative projects and daily office operations. Protecting confidential client information with the highest level of professionalism and integrity. Helping create an organized, efficient, and welcoming office environment. Represents our firm professionally in both appearance and communication. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two years of office management or administrative experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and QuickBooks. Ability to quickly learn additional software, including Thomson Reuters tax software. Strong organizational skills, including document management, scanning, and electronic filing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Professional appearance and pleasant telephone manner. Ability to work onsite in our Elizabeth office. Schedule Regular Office Hours Monday through Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Additional hours are available during tax season to support our busiest time of year.
