Key Qualifications:

• Active Special Education Teacher certification for South Carolina (SC)
• Prior experience teaching in a self-contained classroom preferred
• Strong understanding of IEPs, lesson planning, and differentiated instruction

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver full-time instruction (37.5 hours per week) to middle school students in a self-contained setting
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with support staff, administrators, and parents to meet students’ needs
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and transition planning
• Foster social and academic growth by utilizing evidence-based interventions
• Participate in professional development and team meetings as needed
