Executive Director, Regulatory Strategy

Responsibilities

Lead global regulatory strategy development for endocrinology pipeline programs from early through commercial stages
Integrate scientific, clinical, safety, and commercial considerations into cohesive regulatory roadmaps
Direct team of three regulatory professionals and mentor for performance and career development
Partner cross-functionally to align regulatory strategies with clinical, safety, and commercial objectives
Advise senior leadership on complex regulatory issues, safety signals, and benefit-risk assessments

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in life science plus 17+ years biopharma/regulatory experience with prior leadership, or Master's degree with 15+ years, or PhD with 12+ years
Proven cross-functional influence and diplomatic negotiation skills
Track record building consensus through data-driven strategic cases
Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity in high-stakes regulatory decisions
Experience developing talent through mentorship and direct supervision
History leveraging external relationships with regulatory agencies and industry coalitions
Strong ethical standards and commitment to inclusive work environments
