Your Role Case management mastery – take full ownership of the case lifecycle, from initial assessment to resolution. Collaborative team player – work seamlessly with attorneys and staff, communicating effectively to uphold the firm’s reputation. Strategic problem solver – devise and implement solutions that protect client interests and achieve optimal outcomes. Responsibilities Identify, research, and analyze legal issues and conflicting opinions; review cited authorities; conduct independent research to clarify issues. Draft pleadings, correspondence, memoranda, and other documents, exercising good judgment and organizational skills. Provide legal representation to protect clients in complex, high‑exposure litigation. Explain litigation to those unfamiliar with the process and advocate before judges, arbitrators, and opposing counsel. Take charge of cases to move them toward cost‑effective, efficient, and fair resolutions. Juggle multiple assignments and deadlines while maintaining a professional demeanor and seeking assistance when needed. Review and follow up on client deadlines and calendar appointments. Understand client‑specific billing guidelines and apply them consistently for cost‑effective practices. Assist on other attorneys’ files as needed.
