Locations & Salary Fort Belvoir, VA: $85,447–$111,087 Richmond, VA: $78,009–$101,417 Duties Performs as an IT Specialist in the ETC Services Branch of the Telecommunications Operations Division of Enterprise Information Systems Responsible for providing on‑site and remote support to DLA end users worldwide Installing and maintaining classified and unclassified VTC hardware and software Recommending remedial actions for investigating and diagnosing problems in software and hardware Reviews proposed Video Teleconference projects to assist in determining the adequacy of proposals meeting mission objectives Provides technical guidance to contracting personnel administering contracts involving IT system support functions Provides full range of Audio/Visual services supporting classrooms and conference rooms Provides support and scheduled periodic/routine maintenance of various conference rooms and associated equipment Conditions of Employment Must be a U.S. citizen Tour of Duty: Set Schedule Security Requirements: Non-Critical Sensitive Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability or fitness determination; unfavorably adjudicated background checks are grounds for removal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA): Non-Exempt Selective Service Requirement: Males born after 12‑31‑59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service Recruitment Incentives: Not Authorized Bargaining Unit Status: No Selectees are required to have a REAL ID or other acceptable identification documents to access certain federal facilities. Education must be from a college or university accredited by an organization approved by the U.S. Department of Education. Education substitution: education demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work Combination: combinations of post‑high‑school education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements for GS‑11 level; the combined percentages must equal at least 100 % Only graduate education in excess of the amount required for the next lower grade level may be used to qualify applicants for positions at grade GS‑11 Specialized Experience One year of specialized experience directly related to this position.
