Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
• Current Michigan School Psychologist certification or eligibility
• Prior experience providing psychological and academic evaluations in school environments
• Strong understanding of special education laws and best practices
• Skilled in counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Collaborative, compassionate, and adept at fostering inclusive learning climates

Core Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results
• Develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based interventions for students
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design supportive strategies
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, evaluations, and eligibility determinations
• Offer direct counseling and crisis response as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district and state standards
