Seeking an experienced and compassionate professional for a contract opportunity providing school psychological services in an onsite setting for the upcoming 26/27 school year near Troy, MI. This position offers the flexibility to work 20-30 hours per week and to serve either elementary schools (3 buildings) or middle schools (2 buildings), depending on assignment and preference.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or license as required by the state of Michigan
• Proven experience working with elementary and/or middle school students
• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments, interpret test results, and develop individualized education plans
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Demonstrated commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for students from diverse backgrounds

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students referred for special education or behavioral support
• Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation
• Work collaboratively with teachers, school staff, and parents to develop strategies supporting student well-being and academic achievement
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and data-driven decision-making processes
• Support preventative and early intervention mental health programs within school communities
