Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong understanding of students’ sensory-motor and fine motor development
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Organization and problem-solving abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and collaborate with the student support team to determine needs
• Design and execute interventions that help students achieve their academic and functional goals
• Maintain accurate records and document progress according to school and professional guidelines
• Educate staff and families on techniques to further students’ independence
• Adapt equipment and classroom activities to support student participation
• Participate in IEP meetings, sharing observations and recommendations with the team
