Cath Lab Radiology Technician

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Radiology Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in invasive radiological techniques and will be responsible for assisting with various cath lab procedures while maintaining a sterile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrubbing and monitoring during catheterization procedures including angiograms, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and complex cases such as chronic total occlusion (CTO) and left main interventions.
• Demonstrate proficiency in sterile technique and scrubbing for cath lab procedures.
• Provide STEMI coverage as required.
• Utilize equipment such as Impella and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) as necessary.
• Monitor and record patient data using MacLab; training provided on MacLab usage.
• Manage inventory and restock items in procedure rooms as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working in a cath lab setting.
• Registered Technologist certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required; RCIS certifications will not be accepted.
• Knowledge of cardiology products and procedural-based inventory management is expected.
• Structural heart experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Work Schedule

This position offers a day shift schedule consisting of four 10-hour shifts per week, typically from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. On-call duties involve approximately 9-10 shifts per month, including one weekend.

Additional Information

Scrub color required is any solid color. Experience with electronic medical records is advantageous; familiarity with Cerner is a plus.
