Description What You Will Accomplish

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests across various fieldschemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyondfollowing established protocols with care.
• Evaluate results for precision, address discrepancies, and execute routine maintenance as well as calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for evaluation as required.
• Thoroughly document procedures during your work, train new staff or students, and help uphold the rigorous quality standards of the lab.
• Ensure a clean, safe workspace and comply with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Needed

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, in addition to preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Required

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
• Maintain your certification over the duration of your employment.
