Ultrasound Technologist - Per Diem

CharterCARE Our Lady of Fatima Hospital · 7670-Ultrasound North Providence , RI Summary: Utilizes ultrasound equipment to obtain high quality diagnostic images in a timely manner for the efficient operation of the Ultrasound Department. Education: Must have a high school diploma plus satisfactory completion of formal training in an approved school of Ultrasound Technology. Must be ARDMS certified or eligible. In addition, must also be CPR certified or obtain it within 3 months from date of hire. Experience: Minimum of one- year clinical experience in ultrasound. Working Conditions, Physical Environment and/or Safety Requirements: Attends all related safety training and all other training programs as required by outside regulatory agencies and/or audits. Rectifies any specific job-related hazards for all areas of responsibility through appropriate measures. Works in a clean, well-lighted and well-ventilated area. May be exposed to electrical and radiant energy and to unpleasant physical conditions of patients. Stands, walks, and lifts (medium to heavy weights) most of the day.
