Injection Molding Process Engineer

Hiring: Injection Molding Process Engineer
Location: Greater Phoenix, AZ On-site
We are looking for a hands-on Injection Molding Process Engineer to support scientific molding, process development, optimization, troubleshooting, and validation within a medical device manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in injection molding processes, process characterization, DOE, validation, and technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, optimize, troubleshoot, and validate injection molding processes
Apply scientific molding principles and conduct process characterization
Design and analyze DOE studies using Minitab
Support IQ/OQ/PQ, CPK/PPK analysis, and process validation activities
Troubleshoot molding equipment, tooling, and production process issues
Perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements
Develop control plans, inspection plans, protocols, and technical documentation
Collaborate with operations, leadership, customers, and cross-functional engineering teams
Support continuous improvement and manufacturing process optimization
Requirements:
Hands-on scientific molding and injection molding process development experience
Strong injection molding troubleshooting and optimization experience
Experience with DOE design/analysis using Minitab
Knowledge of process characterization, IQ/OQ/PQ, CPK/PPK, and validation
Experience with root cause analysis, control plans, and inspection plans
Strong technical writing and documentation skills
Medical device or regulated manufacturing experience preferred
Manufacturing robotics, automation, Lean Six Sigma, and metrology experience preferred
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
