Process Engineer IICTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Process Engineer II.Type: ContractLocation: Tolleson, AZCandidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Tolleson, AZPay Rate: Based on experienceWork Hours: M-F 8am-5pmEducation: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or another STEM field required.The Process Engineer II will provide hands-on engineering support in a manufacturing environment, identifying equipment, product, process, and operational issues and implementing practical corrective actions to improve safety, quality, reliability, efficiency, and process stability.The Process Engineer will work closely with operations, maintenance, quality, engineering, and external vendors to troubleshoot issues, analyze process data, identify root causes, and implement sustainable improvements.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or another STEM fieldMinimum of 2 years of professional Process Engineer experience in a manufacturing plant or similar industrial environmentHands-on experience troubleshooting equipment, product, process, and operational issuesExperience identifying root causes and implementing corrective actionsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work effectively with operations, maintenance, quality, engineering, and vendorsCommitment to safe work practices and compliance with plant proceduresWillingness to spend considerable time on the manufacturing floor walking, standing, and engaging with operatorsQualifications:Minimum of 2 years of professional Process Engineer experience in a manufacturing plant; academic experience does not qualify toward this requirementDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, processes, products, and operationsExperience analyzing data and process conditions to identify root causes and improvement opportunitiesAbility to recommend, implement, and verify corrective actionsStrong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to document technical findings, risks, and recommendationsStrong cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving skillsAbility to work onsite in Tolleson, AZPreferred Skills and Experience:Experience with root cause analysis, Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, DOE, or other continuous improvement methodologiesFamiliarity with manufacturing systems, process controls, data analysis tools, and production performance metricsExperience supporting equipment start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning, qualification, or process optimizationMechanical aptitude and experience working directly on a manufacturing floorExperience improving quality, uptime, throughput, and process stabilityAdditional Information:No third party resumes will be acceptedDrug testing and/or other employment-related inquiries may be conductedCTG will consider for employment-qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of all applicable local, state, and federal laws.All interested individuals MUST be able to work on a W2 Tax basis (no C2C or third party vendors)CTG is an Equal Employment Opportunity employerCTG is an E-Verify Company
