Business Development Manager

Compensation: Up to $100k base salary + uncapped commission scheme. Mackinnon Bruce International are partnered with a US-based manufacturer of specialty chemicals and pharmaceutical ingredients, with a notable industry presence and track record of global growth. We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team based out of Pennsylvania . The Role This is a commercially focused position responsible for driving new business growth, building lasting client relationships, and expanding the company's presence across the pharmaceutical and specialty chemicals market. Identify and engage prospective customers through calls, emails, meetings, and industry events. Build and maintain long-term relationships with current and potential clients. Manage and track all customer interactions using CRM and reporting tools (HubSpot, Excel, Google Drive). Collaborate with R&D to identify new products, markets, and growth opportunities. Analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategy and reporting. Set and monitor sales goals to ensure consistent business growth. Support and attend marketing initiatives including trade shows and promotions. Continuously refine sales processes to improve performance and results. The Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemistry, or a related field (preferred). 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management. A background in chemistry is a plus, but not required. Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills. Hunter mindset to new business development and sales acquisition. Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
