Job Details Position Type: Locum tenens physician Specialty: Cardiology Setting: Hospital/Clinic Location: Cottonwood, Arizona Start Date: 09/04/2026 End Date: 12/04/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Schedule: Day shift, 5x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30) Shift Duration: 10-hour days Hours per Week: 40 Weekly Estimated Pay: $9,970 - $10,680 Practice Focus: General cardiology coverage for an established patient panel Charting System: Cerner Support Staff: Experienced clinical team available to assist with patient care Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 30 days Orientation: Remote Cerner training/orientation prior to start Job Requirements Board Certified in Cardiology Minimum of 2 years of cardiology experience Active Arizona medical license or eligibility through IMLC LOQ ACLS and BLS certifications required Experience with Cerner preferred Strong interpersonal and relational skills with patients and staff Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team Willingness to complete required credentialing and onboarding promptly Responsibilities Provide comprehensive general cardiology care for adult patients Evaluate, diagnose, and manage cardiovascular conditions in an outpatient and inpatient setting as assigned Perform cath-related care for the physician's own patients when applicable Work collaboratively with support staff to ensure efficient patient flow Document patient encounters accurately in Cerner Communicate clearly with patients, families, and care teams Deliver high-quality care aligned with clinical guidelines and best practices Maintain professionalism, reliability, and responsiveness throughout the assignment Apply now to explore this Arizona cardiology locum tenens opportunity in Cottonwood, AZ, and join a team committed to excellent patient care.
