As Senior Account Director, you'll be our clients' key point of contact, driving project success and ensuring client satisfaction. You must be friendly, kind, a great listener, and an even better communicator. You love thinking strategically, but can also get into the details to drive a project forward. Building new relationships comes naturally to you and you love managing clients and their needs. You can juggle multiple tasks at once while still being strategic at the same time.

We are a small agency on a big growth path, looking for someone who wants to get in early and be part of the team that drives our business forward. As a member of our leadership team, you'll have a real voice in where Sublime goes next and a hand in building the team that gets us there.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and Manage Amazing Relationships With Our Clients

• Be the primary point of contact for our key clients. Be warm, friendly, and kind so our clients get the best service and love the experience of working with us.
• Understand clients' business objectives, challenges, and industry trends to offer strategic insights.

Scoping, Quoting and Budgeting

• Work with clients and internal teams to define project scopes, budgets, and timelines.
• Be a great mind both creatively and strategically to drive client growth.

Account Growth

• Find opportunities to grow client accounts by introducing new services or solutions, so clients who love our work want more of it.
• Participate in pitches and proposals for prospective clients.
• Contribute to agency growth through strategic planning and market insights.

Leadership and Team Growth

• Sit on Sublime's leadership team, helping shape agency strategy, priorities, and decisions as we grow.
• Build and lead our account team as we scale, including defining new roles, hiring, and onboarding new team members.
• Mentor and develop team members, helping them grow their skills and careers.
• Help establish the processes, standards, and culture that will support a larger team while keeping what makes Sublime special.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (7+ years) in account management or a similar role, preferably within a small marketing or advertising agency.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and clients in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.
• Experience working on B2B tech accounts is required.
• Proven experience working with designers, writers, and other creatives to execute marketing deliverables.
• Great communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams and fostering collaboration.
• Experience hiring, mentoring, or developing team members, and excitement about helping a small team grow.
• In-depth understanding of marketing strategies, including digital, content, and traditional channels.
• Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
• Proficiency in project management tools, AI tools and CRM platforms is a plus.

Salary range: $125-$160k base, plus commission and a bonus plan tied to agency growth, depending on experience and location. Sublime offers a comprehensive benefit package including health, disability, and vision insurance, as well as 401K matching and flexible time off.
