This is a Part-time, 24 hour/week, Night shift position.

Our Medical-Surgical Unit offers a safe and nurturing environment for patients of all ages. Telemetry, orthopedic surgery, general surgery, cardiac/respiratory, diabetes, stroke, pediatrics, and gynecological surgery are all part of our practice.

The Registered Nurse role is responsible for the management of patient care, including clinical nursing practice/caring, leadership, management, professionalism, and growth/development, as well as the independent assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. ICU, SCU, ED and PACU RNs require ACLS and PALS Certifications within one year of start date or in accordance with Department guidelines. OB, NICU RNs require NRP Certification within one year of start date or in accordance with Department guidelines
3. Experience: One year of RN experience required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Registered Nurse Acute Care role.
4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Annual Electronic Fetal Monitoring competency for any RN assisting Laboring Women required.

The pay range for this position for an RN II is $37.09 to $50.17 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
