Job Qualifications To be considered for the Sous Chef position in Surprise, AZ , candidates should bring: 2+ years of full-service restaurant experience in a management or leadership capacity Strong working kitchen knowledge, including butchering and portion control Deep commitment to Iconic Hospitality standards — you do not just meet guest expectations, you exceed them Solid communication and organizational skills — you can lead a team, coordinate a shift, and hold people accountable without losing your cool Working knowledge of food and labor cost control , inventory management , and purchasing Expertise in food safety and sanitation procedures — NCO (Neat, Clean, Organized) is not just a policy, it is a mindset Job Responsibilities As the Sous Chef in Surprise, AZ , you will be at the center of the action — and that is exactly where great culinary leaders want to be. Your responsibilities will include: Providing direct support to the Executive Chef across all areas of kitchen operations Managing Back of House team members , food production, and operations.
