Client's Antibody Engineering Department is seeking a motivated Research Associate II to support antibody discovery using phage display and molecular biology techniques. This hands-on lab role contributes to developing novel antibody-based therapeutics in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and screen antibody phagedisplay libraries to identify candidate binders.
- Perform molecular biology andbiochemistry experiments (PCR, cloning, ELISA, RNA isolation, bacterialculture).
- Characterize antibody candidates usinghigh-throughput assays (e.g., ELISA, surface plasmon resonance).
- Maintain detailed experimental recordsand collaborate with cross-functional scientists.
- B.S./B.A. in Biology, Biochemistry, orrelated field.
- 5-10 years of relevant lab experience(drug discovery preferred).
- Experience in phage display stronglypreferred (training available).
- Strong organizational and communicationskills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Bonus: Experience with protein-proteininteraction studies (SPR or similar).
