The nurse will work 3 days a week for 12 hours, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM. The nurse must be willing to take on-call shifts. Call shifts may be scheduled either during the day or night on weekends. The nurse will be required to work at least one holiday period during the contract. This role involves floating within scope to meet facility needs. The facility has a dynamic, nurse-driven environment. The nursing team consists of a mix of Registered Nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists. Staff are trained to scrub and circulate surgical procedures across various specialties, including trauma and robotics. The facility is a level-one academic trauma center with a busy operating room. Travelers should be aware of potential emergency response assignments during hurricane season.
