About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years strongly preferred License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, Clienttion Badge Must-Have: - Must have scrub experience - Must be willing to float within the scope to meet facility needs Description: This position requires an Operating Room Registered Nurse. The nurse will work three 12-hour shifts during the day. Scheduled on-call shifts will include up to four shifts per month. The nurse will be required to work at least one weekend shift each month. Holiday work is mandatory, with specific dates indicated. This facility operates a Level 1 Trauma Center with 21 operating room suites. Specialties covered include Trauma, Transplant, Orthopedics, Neuro, ENT, Gynecology, and Robotics. The nursing team is comprised of registered nurses and certified surgical technologists. Nurses are trained to both scrub and circulate during surgical procedures. A strong commitment to quality patient care is expected. Travelers should be prepared for possible emergency response duties during hurricane season. Travelers should be clear of any conflicting time-off requests before the start of employment. A radiation badge will be provided.
