About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required Must be able to scrub and circulate general operating room cases License: Must hold a valid RN license Certifications: BLS ACLS Must-Have: Experience in scrubbing and circulating general operating room cases such as plastics and colorectal Ability to circulate and scrub for urology, minimally invasive surgery, pancreatic/biliary, and surgical oncology cases Description: We are seeking an experienced registered nurse specializing in the operating room. The nurse will work three 12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM. On-call duties will be required, with an expectation of 5 to 8 calls per month, including weekends. Holiday call may also be required. The candidate must be proficient in circulating and scrubbing for a variety of surgical cases. Experience with robotic surgery is highly preferred. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a concern, please ensure travel assignments are not confirmed during the hurricane season, which runs from June through November. Candidates must comply with all facility requirements for onboarding prior to the start date.
