Make a significant impact as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher within a dynamic preschool setting for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, contract opportunity offers the chance to support young learners at a single location, working closely with a collaborative educational team dedicated to fostering student growth.

In this role, you'll work with a preschool caseload of up to 15 students, providing direct support and instruction Monday through Thursday while Fridays are reserved for planning and collaboration. You'll utilize both in-class and pull-out service models, focusing on individualized instruction and developmental support for students with disabilities. Expertise in administering standardized and general education assessments in literacy and math is key to ensuring students thrive.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
• Valid Colorado Department of Education certification in one of the following:
  • Early Childhood Special Ed (birth through age 8, Grades P3-2 or birth through 5, Grade P3-K, or ages 3-8, Grades P3-2)
• Demonstrated experience supporting preschool-aged children in special education settings
• Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs and individualized programming
• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments for eligibility and instructional planning
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Willingness to complete a background check upon offer acceptance

Responsibilities:

• Assess, teach, and support a diverse range of student abilities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and administration
• Maintain accurate student records, progress notes, and assessment data
• Tailor instructional strategies to foster inclusive learning environments

This is an onsite position in the Denver area, providing a stable weekly schedule (Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours/week) and valuable professional experience in Early Childhood Special Education.
