Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, onsite position is ideal for a dedicated Early Childhood Special Education Teacher ready to make a difference in the lives of preschool-aged students. Working Monday through Friday, you'll focus on a singular campus with a manageable caseload of up to 15 students, allowing for meaningful connections and individualized support.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university
• Valid DOE certification in one of the following:
  • Early Childhood Special Ed (birth-8, P3-2)
  • Early Childhood Special Ed Specialist (birth-8, P3-2)
  • Early Childhood Special Ed (birth-5, P3-K)
  • Early Childhood Special Ed (ages 3-8, P3-2)
• Proven ability to assess, teach, and support students with disabilities using a mix of in-class and pull-out services
• Understanding and application of standardized eligibility assessments, literacy, and math assessments
• Clear background check (to be completed following offer)
• Comfort with a likely virtual interview process via Google Meets

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support for preschoolers with special needs in both in-class and pull-out settings
• Assess students using standardized and curriculum-based measures
• Develop and implement individualized learning plans
• Collaborate with colleagues during Friday planning and team meetings
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment for all learners
