This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role within a growing local Mechanical team of professionals.If you're a licensed Professional Engineer who enjoys mentoring teams, driving high-quality design, and working on cutting-edge projects across Multi-Family Housing, Commercial, and Government sectors—this is a role where you can truly make an impact.Key Responsibilities:Provide mentorship and guidance to Mechanical engineers and designersDevelop and manage project work plansLead system selections, basis of design, and ensure quality of work productAttend project meetings and communicate effectively with project team membersRepresent the Mechanical discipline in client meetings and communicate effectively with clientsSupport construction phases including submittal reviews and RFI responsesMaintain and develop mechanical/plumbing standards with senior engineering staffAct as a senior resource, providing guidance across HVAC and plumbing designQualifications:Minimum of 8 years of focused mechanical/plumbing design experienceMechanical Engineering Professional (PE) license a plusProficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with Trane Trace load calculation softwareStrong ability to present information and confidently respond to questions from managers, clients, and the public
