NOC Engineer I

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the NOC Engineer I will manage outage resolution and network health monitoring across the Lumos Core and Access Broadband Network, collaborating with various teams to ensure quick service restoration. Key responsibilities Coordinates network outages with multiple teams to ensure effective resolution Performs event notifications for internal teams and external customers Assists with troubleshooting and root cause analysis of network performance issues Required qualifications Strong understanding of Ethernet and TCP IP networking 2-4+ years of professional network operations experience or five or more years of related technical experience High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred CCNA certification preferred Ability to work a 24/7 operational schedule including nights and weekends
