Event Rental Sales & Customer Service Representative

Chairs4Events is looking for a motivated, personable, and detail-oriented Event Rental Sales & Customer Service Representative to join our team! We are an event rental company specializing in tents, tables, chairs, linens, tabletop rentals, lighting, dance floors, staging, and other event essentials. We work closely with caterers, event planners, venues, wedding professionals, corporate clients, and individuals to provide the rental equipment they need to bring their events together. Event industry, rental, hospitality, or sales experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. What You’ll Do Communicate with clients and event professionals by phone, email, and in person Work closely with caterers, event planners, venues, and other event professionals to understand their rental needs Assist customers in selecting the appropriate rental products for their events Prepare and send quotes and proposals Follow up with leads and inquiries and help convert them into confirmed orders Build and maintain strong relationships with repeat customers and industry professionals Answer questions regarding products, pricing, availability, delivery, pickup, setup requirements, and rental policies Review orders for accuracy and make adjustments as event details change Coordinate with our warehouse, delivery, linen, and operations teams to ensure orders are prepared correctly Help identify additional rental opportunities based on the customer’s needs Maintain accurate customer and order information in our rental system Provide friendly, professional, and solution-oriented customer service throughout the rental process Assist with showroom appointments and client visits when needed What We’re Looking For Previous experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, events, rentals, or a related field preferred Event rental or event industry experience is a strong plus Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable speaking with customers and discussing products, pricing, and rental options Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple customer inquiries and orders at the same time Positive attitude and willingness to learn Strong follow-through and problem-solving skills Comfortable using computers, email, and office software Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player Professional, friendly, and dependable Compensation $21–$25 per hour, based on experience, PLUS commission This position offers the opportunity to increase your earnings through commission based on sales performance.
