Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery, Templeton, California. Travel assignment starting 09/07/2026 for 18 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,758 to $2,875 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. The Labor and Delivery Nurse is responsible for planning and providing nursing care to patients and their families during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods, including emergency situations and circulating for C-sections. This role includes supervising and delegating care to ancillary personnel commensurate with scope of practice. This position is represented by CNA.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods, including emergency situations and circulating for C-sections.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications as prescribed, and respond to obstetric emergencies with appropriate action.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, educate patients and families, and coordinate with the obstetric team for safe deliveries and postpartum care.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to ancillary personnel (CNA) within the nurse’s scope of practice.
- Ensure accurate documentation, infection control, and adherence to unit policies and safety standards.

Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in California.
- Experience in Labor and Delivery or obstetric care is preferred.
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts in a travel assignment.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills; ability to collaborate with the care team and CNA staff.
- Capable of delivering patient- and family-centered care in a high-acuity obstetric setting.
