Responsibilities
- Plan and provide nursing care for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients, including emergency situations; monitor maternal and fetal status and respond to changes.
- Circulate for C-sections and assist with obstetric emergencies as needed.
- Supervise and delegate appropriate tasks to ancillary personnel within scope of practice.
- Administer medications, perform assessments, and document care accurately; coordinate with the obstetric team and family members.
- Maintain infection prevention, aseptic technique, and patient safety standards; provide patient and family education throughout the perinatal period.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN/BSN acceptable); BSN preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/NRP preferred.
- Labor and Delivery experience preferred; candidates with relevant L&D exposure are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced L&D unit; willing to participate in a travel assignment and pass credentialing requirements.
