CT Technologist

Role: CT Technologist responsible for delivering safe, high-quality imaging and supporting patient care in a collaborative healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform CT procedures accurately following department guidelines, capturing diagnostic images. Operate imaging equipment independently, ensuring optimal image quality with minimal radiation exposure (ALARA). Maintain cleanliness and functionality of rooms and equipment, reporting issues promptly. Obtain patient history, verify orders, and ensure patient safety and comfort using AIDET communication. Administer contrast agents and perform exams with proper technique, including venipuncture. Review images for diagnostic quality, make necessary adjustments, and document appropriately in RIS/PACS. Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and maintain life-support equipment. Organize workflow, support departmental operations, ensure compliance, and assist with patient transport and clerical tasks. Qualifications & Skills: High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Minimum of 1 year radiology experience. Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS (American Heart Association).
