Overview
Registered Nurse, EP Lab (Cardiac Device RN) in Burlington, VT for a travel temporary assignment beginning 09/10/2026 and lasting 4 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,641–$2,810. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 5x8 days (Mon–Fri, 8:00–16:30). This role focuses on cardiac rhythm management device care, including patients with implanted monitors and CRM devices in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities
- Independently manage technical aspects of implanted CRM devices (pacemakers, ICDs, implanted loop recorders) per protocol, including device interrogation and programming as appropriate.
- Provide patient-facing care for adults with CRM devices, monitoring rhythms, interpreting data, and addressing device alarms or patient concerns.
- Collaborate with the Cardiac Device/ Rhythm Management team to coordinate follow-ups, document in the electronic record, and ensure device-related care is accurate and timely.
- Educate patients on device function, activity restrictions, and follow-up plans; reinforce safety and infection control standards.
- Maintain compliance with BLS requirements and organizational policies; participate in quality improvement efforts related to CRM services.
- Demonstrate proficiency with the EPIC system for documentation and data entry related to device management and patient encounters.

Requirements
- Current, active RN license to practice in Vermont
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Pacemaker/ICD Technician program or equivalent job experience
- Knowledge of cardiac rhythm management devices and cardiovascular physiology
- EPIC experience within the last 2 years
- Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00–16:30; no on-call or weekend requirements
- Education: graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN)
