What You'll Be Doing

• Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Uncover each patient's unique needs and craft personalized therapy strategies aimed at achieving their functional ambitions.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with Multi-disciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nurses to deliver seamless, holistic care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Share knowledge with patients and their caregivers regarding therapeutic techniques to encourage ongoing progress at home.
• Track Patient Progress: Monitor clinical development and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring pathways towards recovery remain clear and achievable.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement and support towards continuing education or additional post-graduate certifications

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapy (OTR/L) license required
• Certification from NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is mandatory
